SKYDIVING AT SEA ABOARD 'ANTHEM'

If you are a thrill-seeker, how about skydiving on your cruise without a parachute? Welcome to Anthem of the Seas' RipChord, the virtual skydiving experience from iFLY. Passengers get a 15-minute orientation before entering a 150-mph vertical wind tunnel. If it feels like you are floating on air, that's because you are floating on air. Check it out:

'HARMONY' MAY BE WORLD'S BIGGEST

While we are on the subject of size, Royal Caribbean may up the ante with its third Oasis-class ship, Harmony of the Seas. According to reports, it will surpass its sister ships and claim the largest cruise ship title when she launches in 2016.  Among other things, it will feature new multi-story water slides. The "WOW" keeps coming from Royal.

Remember bumper cars? If you do, you may be in the baby boomer demo. Newer generations probably had the equivalent in a video game. Trust me -- the real deal is more fun. HIGH-END SHOPPING AT SEA ON 'QUANTUM'

With Christmas just around the corner, you know shopping is in high gear around here. It's also in high gear at sea, especially on Royal Caribbean's new ship, Quantum of the Seas. Their shopping area rivals any high-end shopping mall. You'll think you are on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach or Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.Just make sure you have plenty of room left on the old credit card. Here's a video with more:

VIRTUAL BALCONIES ON 'QUANTUM'

There is a famous advertising line that went, "Is it real, or is it Memorex?" That of course referring to recording tape (yes, once upon a time, we did use tape). That could be applied today to the inside staterooms on Quantum of the Seas, which feature "virtual balconies and sea views," thanks to the wonders of technology. Here's more on how it's done:
