'FLOATING RAMP' GETS FIRST TEST

When a cruise ship can't physically dock at a port, passengers have to disembark by tenders -- basically passenger ferry boats from the ship to shore and back. Now there's another way: the SeaWalk. The SeaWalk, built by a company in Norway, is a motorized, flexible, floating walkway that extends from the shore to the cruise ship. The manufacturer says it can move 4,000 passengers in an hour.
