When it comes to maps and directions, we have known, used and loved Google Street Views for years. On occasion, we've even spied those Google, camera-equipped cars roaming the streets around here, keeping their maps up to date.
We just never thought Street Views would ever extend to a cruise ship. But Royal Caribbean did.
Through the magic of technology, you can get a Google Street View of the largest cruise ship in the world, Allure of the Seas. It's pretty cool. Check it out here. -- Gerry

ROYAL PARTNERS ON THE SCIENCE OF THE SEAS
While passengers are partying, eating and drinking on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, scientific instruments placed all along the ship are busy recording valuable ocean data for scientists at the University of Miami.
It's part of a decade-long program between the cruise line and the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS) to gather real-time data from the ocean and the atmosphere to study things like the affect of climate change. Here's more in this week's video:
