When the Queen Mary 2 departs Southampton Oct. 14 bound for New York, it will carry members of London's National Symphony Orchestra. They'll perform two concerts while on board, one a "tribute to American music, and the other in traditional 'Last Night of the Proms' style." But this is the cool part: Guests will have the opportunity to join an all-passenger chorus. The chorus will join the NSO on stage the last night of the voyage and lead the audience in singing such favorites as "Rule Britannia" and "Land of Hope and Glory."
Brian and Mo, our good friends from Bath, England who are renowned for their vocal accomplishments in many choral performances, should be a shoo-in to lead the singing. How about it, Cunard? -- Gerry
