There are so many things that seem like "Mission: Impossible" when you think about the daunting task of hosting almost 9,000 people a week on a cruise ship. Not least of which is feeding those people 24/7. But that's the job Executive Chef Thomas takes on every day on Oasis of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship. Working with a staff of hundreds, the German-born, 14-year veteran of Royal Caribbean ships personally oversees every dining venue aboard, which means lots and lots of walking.
