TWO MUSIC THEME CRUISES ON NORWEGIAN

Music concerts at sea are among the most popular of the "theme cruises," and Norwegian is partnering for two more -- one classic Southern rock, and the other country-western. For the former, legendary Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd will be offering the seventh edition of their Simple Man Cruise, departing Miami onboard Norwegian Pearl, to Key West and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas Oct. 20 – 24, 2013.

Scheduled is a Lynyrd Skynyrd Sail Away Concert on the pool deck, a main theater performance and a Q and A session. Additional performing artists, theme nights, and artist-hosted activities will be announced in the coming months. Pre-sale signup is open now at http://www.simplemancruise.com/presale. The cruise line notes that guests who reserve their staterooms during the Pre-Sale will have their photo taken with Lynyrd Skynyrd on board. You can view the Simple Man Cruise 2012 Recap Video at http://vimeo.com/56029796. Fares start at $700 per guest, plus taxes and fees, with staterooms going on sale to the public March 15th. More information and announcements on Simple Man Cruise can be found at www.simplemancruise.com.

For fans of country-western, there's the second Country Cruising “Best Country Cruise Ever,” on board Norwegian Pearl sailing from Miami, Jan. 2, 2014 for a seven-day cruise to the Western Caribbean.

Performers include Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, Wynonna, Neal McCoy, Love and Theft, Craig Morgan, Lonestar and more. Each artist will perform two live concerts in the ship’s Stardust Theater. In addition, the line says "cruise guests will have the opportunity to enjoy nearly 100 live concerts and experience live music every night in at least three different venues around the ship." The line up also includes: Steel Magnolia, Brett Eldredge, Maggie Rose, Frankie Ballard, Chris Cavanaugh, Brandon and Leah, JJ Lawhorn, James Wesley, JT Hodges, Ray Scott, McKenna Faith, Her and Kings County, The Mantz Brothers, Clayton Anderson, Bryan Edwards and other emerging artists to be announced.
