A VISIT TO NYC'S LITTLE ITALY

If you happen to be in the vicinity of Canal and Mulberry in lower Manhattan, you will find a confluence of cultures as Chinatown ends and Little Italy begins. On our recent Amtrak excursion to the Big Apple, we headed to one of our favorite eateries in the heart of Little Italy, Caffe Napoli. Whether you are enjoying an afternoon respite from heavy-duty shopping, a casual lunch or a leisurely, long dinner, it's the perfect place to grab a corner sidewalk table, people watch and soak up the closest thing to Italy without actually being there. Cappuccino or sangria, you can't go wrong. -- Gerry
