IZUMI: ASIAN CUISINE AS AN ART FORM

Hot rocks dining at Izumi (Photo: Gerry)
If you looking for a specialty restaurant that delivers great food and authentic atmosphere, may we recommend Izumi, the Asian cuisine eatery from Royal Caribbean. On a recent cruise on Oasis of the Seas, Pam and I opted for the Ishiyaki (hot rocks) menu, which means your cook your food on a rock surface heated to 575 degrees. It makes for a meal that is both delicious and entertaining. Izumi restaurants are currently available on their Oasis-class ships, as well as Splendor of the Seas. It's also the topic for this week's video (in which I also learned Izumi means "natural spring" in Japanese). Enjoy! -- Gerry
